Sarah & James are just such a lovely couple and although it was fantastic fun, they really did work hard in the cold on the day to achieve some fantastic shots.

The light was challenging to say the least, quite dark and dull fairly early on as we arrived back at Morley Hayes for portraits and formals. I was on a 'no flash' mission, as I'm well into my available light stuff at the minute… Sarah & James had had some practice at the pre wedding shoot so knew what to expect, which has really helped them to prepare for the big day. I think they were both fairly nervous about the photography before the pre wed shoot.

Anyway it all ran very smoothly, I worked with the poor light, pushed up the film speed and am pleased to say I am extremely happy with the results! - my favs featured below.

What can we say…fabulous photographer, fabulous day!

We first met Steven at a wedding fayre in 2009 when we started looking for a wedding photographer, we had high expectations of what we wanted our photos to look like and it was important to us that we got the right person to take them, and we certainly hit the jackpot with Steven. Both James and I were very keen to have photos that not only could we be proud of, but would also represent the day perfectly and capture all of the special moments and things we didn’t see, Steven didn’t fail to deliver. He spent the whole day with us, and was incredibly patient during the madness that came from having all of our family and friends together and he also felt like part of the wedding party.

Steven is an amazing photographer who has an incredible ability of seeing the perfect photo opportunity and then running with it. At first we were a little unsure how some of the photos would look but when we received the call the following week to say we could view the photos we weren’t disappointed. Our final photos caught our personalities perfectly and were exactly what we were looking for.
One thing we were very impressed with is that Steven never loses interest; he is constantly looking for that next photo and is incredibly talented. We have already recommended Steven to our friends and family and all we can say is if you are reading this and looking for a wedding photographer, look no further!
